I went to see the movie Last House on the Left with Brian tonight because we are both horror movie buffs and have to see every horror movie that comes out whether it’s gonna be good or terrible. The movie was okay and I have some good things to say about it, and some bad things to say about it so lets get started, I’ll make it short:
Good Elements:
- there was lots of suspense
- there was lots of blood
- more ways to kill a person were introduced, including garbage disposals and microwaves
Bad Elements:
- hella long
- death scenes were not long enough
- first 30 minutes are kind of slow
- some sceles were not necessary and did not add or take away from the plot
Yes, I have seen the original version of the movie. It wasn’t as scary and suspensful as the remake I think just because it was an old movie. They’re similar and different in some parts but mostly you can go without seeing the remake if you’ve seen the original or don’t see the original if you’ve seen the remake. I hope that last sentence made sense, it’s 4:06 in the morining and I don’t have any sort of good grammar at this time.
